Overview
Structure.fi is a platform that makes it simple for builders to design, backtest, and deploy algorithmic trading strategies directly on decentralized exchanges. Users can go from idea to live strategy with AI‑assisted strategy authoring, tick‑level backtesting, and automated on‑chain execution in a wallet‑first workflow.
As we scale our multi‑entity, global operations, we’re hiring a hands‑on Controller / Accounting Manager to build and lead core finance across the group. You’ll own consolidated reporting across fiat and on‑chain activity, drive multi‑jurisdiction tax and compliance, and partner with the founders to implement scalable controls, vendor and banking/crypto‑infrastructure relationships, and efficient processes suited to a high‑velocity Web3 product company.
This is a freelance mission, not a salaried position.
Key responsibilities
Prepare monthly financial statements for multiple entities and consolidated financial statements, including variance analysis
Manage intercompany billings, reconciliations, transfer pricing policies and documentation
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements in multiple jurisdictions
Coordinate and oversee tax filings across multiple jurisdictions, working closely with external tax advisors to ensure accuracy and timely compliance
Set up and document the consolidated reporting and intercompany framework
Manage accounts payable, vendor onboarding, and expense control
Maintain banking relationships, monitor accounts, and ensure KYC compliance
Define finance and procurement controls and SOPs
Deliver agreed analyses and finance projects defined in the mission scope
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (strong academic background is a plus)
Professional accounting certification preferred
5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, ideally as a Controller or Accounting Manager
Fluency in English is a must
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and US and international tax standards
Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
